Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Officer
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition Officer manages and administers the National Automatic Number Plate Recognition Service to maintain system integrity and compliance for hundreds of users across the National Crime Agency. The role involves conducting analytical research using Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems and intelligence tools to support criminal investigations, law enforcement operations, and strategic intelligence development. Working within the National Intelligence Hub, the post holder provides subject matter expertise, ensures lawful data management, and participates in an out-of-hours on-call rota to support urgent operational incidents. They collaborate closely with internal teams and external law enforcement partners to disrupt serious and organised crime.
