Domestic Abuse Safety Officer - Kent
The Domestic Abuse Safety Officer supports victims and current partners of domestic abuse perpetrators who are attending offending behaviour interventions within regional Interventions Teams. The role holder uses knowledge of domestic abuse and the criminal justice system to provide bespoke support, advocate for client safety, and manage risk of harm. Key responsibilities include creating safety plans, making referrals to local support organisations, and collaborating with the Probation Service to escalate risks. The position involves working closely with clients using a trauma-informed approach and maintaining accurate case records.
