Epidemiological Analyst
You will develop and maintain enhanced surveillance systems and databases for vaccine-preventable diseases at the UK Health Security Agency. Your day will involve analysing complex epidemiological and statistical data using tools like R, SQL, and Microsoft Access, and writing scientific papers and reports. You will work closely with clinical and scientific colleagues, health protection teams, and external stakeholders to support public health action. Additionally, you will present your research findings at national meetings and help maintain disease-specific web pages.

- Educated to degree level in a relevant science subject
- Post-graduate degree in Epidemiology completed or near completion
- Experience in scientific research within public health or epidemiology
- Data management and analysis using R, SQL and Microsoft Access
- Able to work independently and liaise with external collaborators
