Finance Officer
The Finance Officer works within the Digital Information Directorate Finance Team at the Crown Prosecution Service to manage directorate finances through forecasting, budgeting, and providing assurances to senior management. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, producing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting data. The postholder also supports month-end and year-end activities, processes invoices, raises purchase orders, and handles general administrative expenses. They work closely with finance colleagues and senior managers to maintain financial integrity and support operational needs.
