Government Policy Fast Stream 2027
Policy professionals on the Fast Stream work at the heart of the Civil Service to help ministers navigate complex issues and make government commitments a reality. You will design, develop and oversee the delivery of policy proposals while working with ministers, other professions, and stakeholder networks. You will also collaborate with operational delivery colleagues to monitor and adapt policies over time to ensure they remain effective in practice. The three-year scheme provides training, support, and a structured curriculum to help you develop into a future leader.
What they're looking for
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Have or be on track for a 2:2 or higher in any degree subject
- Degree apprenticeships accepted
- Existing civil servants can apply without a degree

- 2:2 or higher in any degree subject
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with settled status, and Turkish nationals with accrued rights.
