The job holder will supervise, manage, and control prisoners in non-specialist prison workshops to provide a structured work experience that mirrors outside employment. Responsibilities include inducting prisoners, teaching health and safety standards, managing work schedules, and ensuring security and discipline are maintained. The role also involves contributing to prisoner reports, managing attendance and wages, and maintaining regular communication via radio networks.
