You will lead the design and implementation of analytical data models within the Digital, Data and Security Services directorate at Ofgem. Working closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, you will define standards and drive best practices to ensure data supports both operational and strategic needs. This is a hands-on technical role combining data engineering, analytics, and stakeholder engagement in a cloud environment. You will ensure data is structured and accessible to enable insights for a secure and sustainable energy future.

• Experience optimising complex data models in a modern cloud environment
• Practical experience working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience using Python for coding programs, scripts or components
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and metadata management
