Low Carbon Fuels Technical specialists
This role involves developing and delivering low carbon fuel policy to help shape the UK's journey to net zero and decarbonise transport. You will provide technical expertise on sustainable fuels, carbon accounting, and climate change while collaborating with colleagues, government departments, and industry stakeholders. Day to day, you will evaluate technical evidence, draft consultation documents, and prepare high-quality advice and briefings for ministers. The position is part of the Department for Transport's Low Carbon Fuels Policy and Delivery Division, offering a fast-paced environment focused on sustainability.

- Degree in Engineering, Science or Environmental Science, or relevant experience
- Knowledge of low carbon fuels, biofuels, and life cycle analysis
- Strong evidence-gathering and analytical skills for technical information
