Operational Support Grade - HMP Highpoint
As an operational support grade team member, you will perform a variety of physical and security-related tasks to keep the prison running smoothly and safely. Your day-to-day duties will include managing gate security, operating control rooms, handling correspondence, escorting visitors, and supporting prisoner supervision and food delivery. You will work alongside a supportive team on a rolling shift pattern that includes nights, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. This active role requires strong teamwork, common sense, and the ability to respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EUSS status holders, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
