Prison Officer - HMP Styal
Prison officers protect the public and help make a positive impact on prisoners' lives in a fast-paced and unique environment. You will work directly with women in custody to build constructive professional relationships and support colleagues to keep the prison safe. The role involves carrying out varied duties such as acting as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher while working through changing shift patterns. You will be part of the Women's Prison Group working at a specific establishment to help vulnerable individuals.

Nationality requirements
Open to UK nationals, Irish citizens, Commonwealth citizens with the right to work, EU/EEA/Swiss settlers under the EUSS, and qualifying Turkish nationals.
Selection process
