Prison Officer - HMP Swaleside
Prison officers protect the public, help rehabilitate offenders, and maintain a safe and secure environment within a custodial setting. You will work directly with prisoners from diverse backgrounds, acting as a peacekeeper, mentor, and security presence while building positive professional relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising daily routines, managing challenging behavior, conducting security checks, and working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues.
