This role involves returning to the Probation Service as a qualified probation officer to keep the public safe and rehabilitate people on probation. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with former colleagues and partner agencies to manage cases and support individuals. This fast-track returners scheme allows eligible former civil servants to re-join the service without a lengthy application process. The position is designed to utilise previous experience to quickly resume probation duties within the region.

Qualifications

• Probation Officer qualification
• PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
• Diploma in Probation Studies
• Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)

Nationality requirements

This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EU/EEA/Swiss/Turkish nationals with specific status.
