Qualified Probation Officer - Hertfordshire - East of England
Qualified Probation Officers undertake offender management tasks with people on probation under supervision, including assessments and sentence implementation. They provide professional advice and written reports to courts, the Parole Board, and partner agencies to protect the public and reduce reoffending. Post holders collaborate with various criminal justice services, manage risk, and support colleagues to ensure effective community supervision and offender rehabilitation. The role involves maintaining accurate records, attending partnership forums, and adhering to strict confidentiality and inclusion policies.

Qualifications
- Probation Officer qualification or qualified Probation Officer
- PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)
