Qualified Probation Officer
The qualified probation officer undertakes the full range of offender management tasks including assessment, sentence implementation, and producing written reports. The role involves supervising individuals subject to community orders, licences, and custodial sentences while working to manage risk and protect the public. The post holder collaborates with courts, criminal justice agencies, partner organisations, and colleagues to prevent crime and support rehabilitation. Additionally, the officer provides professional guidance, handles sensitive information, and adheres to all organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)
- CQSW (Probation option)
