Security and Information Risk Advisor
You will drive effective information security risk management to protect Social Security Scotland as a Security and Information Risk Advisor. Your day-to-day work involves providing expert guidance on cyber security controls, conducting security risk assessments, and investigating major security breaches. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to design secure system architectures and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of information security policies, standards, and guidelines within the digital risk and security branch.
What they're looking for
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST SP 800-53 standards
- Understanding of DPA 2018 and GDPR legislation
- Ability to evaluate control effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Experience managing complex risks and remediation activities
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Ireland, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with relevant work rights or EUSS status.
Selection process
