The Senior Developer creates and maintains information reporting tools and website applications within the Data and Insight team. They provide specialist technical expertise in web application design and lead the future development of Ofsted's information reporting systems. The role involves coaching and supporting developers at all levels while resolving complex technical problems. Working alongside high-achieving professionals, the post holder leads specific development projects and advises on technical requirements.

• Web-application design using Python and Django
• Managing products using Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Developing JavaScript, HTML and CSS code
• Handling large and sensitive datasets using SQL server
• Technical leadership experience
