Senior Developer (SQ Web)
This senior developer role implements web applications and provides technical leadership to deliver cloud-native web-based solutions for end users. The post holder works in cross-functional product squads designing and developing JavaScript-based microservices and front-end interfaces using agile methods, paired programming, and test-driven development. They collaborate with colleagues across the digital and technology group to maintain high-performance software and support the regulation of medicines and medical devices.
What they're looking for
- Solid JavaScript coding skills
- Experience of test-driven development and behavior-driven development
- Ability with open source, cloud first, microservices and DevOps principles
- Strong collaboration skills using Jira, Confluence and GitHub
Qualifications
- Computer Science or similar engineering degree
- Post-graduate qualification or equivalent industry experience
Nationality requirements
Open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth citizens with work rights, EU/EEA/Swiss EUSS status holders, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
