Senior Occupational Psychologist
You will work as a Senior Occupational Psychologist within the Air and Space Command, supporting the design, delivery, and validation of computer-based aptitude tests and leading on continuous attitude surveys for Royal Air Force personnel. Your day-to-day work involves conducting specialized psychological research, managing stakeholders, and providing expert consultancy to shape evidence-based people policies across Defence. You will also line manage and supervise trainee and junior psychologists, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address key workforce challenges. This role is vital for optimizing personnel selection and harnessing the potential of the Whole Force.

- Minimum of 4 years relevant post MSc experience
- Experience in selection and assessment methodologies
- Skilled in research methods and statistical analysis
- Strong stakeholder management at all levels
- Proficient in SPSS and Excel data software
Qualifications
- BSc Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Chartership with BPS
- Msc Occupational Psychology approved as Stage 1 by the BPS
- BPS Qualification in Occupational Testing - Personality
- BPS Qualification in Occupational Testing - Ability
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss and Turkish nationals with appropriate status or right to work.
