The post holder will lead the development and operation of a Directorate-wide risk and assurance function across Conduct, Justice and Legislation. They will establish and maintain a single view of strategic and delivery risk, design proportionate assurance arrangements, strengthen controls, and provide evidence-based reporting to support senior leaders. Operating alongside programme and sponsorship teams, the role ensures risks, issues, dependencies and recommendations are visible and actively managed through proper governance routes. The position helps embed disciplined delivery controls and supports the wider Defence People team in managing high-profile justice and conduct systems.
