Technical and Capital Accountant
As a Technical and Capital Accountant, you will ensure the Student Loans Company financial reporting is accurate, compliant, and supported by strong financial controls. Working in the Financial Accounting team, you will provide technical expertise in capital accounting, prepayments, and balance sheet management to protect public money. You will advise colleagues on accounting treatments, support statutory accounts preparation, and help drive year-end reporting and audit activities.

- CCAB qualified or part-qualified with relevant experience
- Experience supporting statutory reporting, audit and compliance
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and standard application
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- CCAB-qualified accountant or equivalent
