Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives (WOME) Assurance Officer
This role involves assuring the delivery of strategically important weapons, ordnance, munitions, and explosives export contracts to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will work within the Ministry of Defence Saudi Armed Forces Projects team to manage contract planning, act as a safety assurance officer, conduct contractor audits, and provide technical advice. You will collaborate closely with UK colleagues, industry suppliers, and international customers including the Royal Saudi Air Force. The position requires representing His Majesty's Government on-site and ensuring adherence to high safety and engineering standards.
What they're looking for
- WOME engineering experience through maintenance, manufacture or qualification
- Quality management experience as an auditor or coordinator
- Ability to operate confidently and independently on site
- Experience working with industry and customers internationally
Qualifications
- A recognised engineering or quality assurance qualification
- Professional registration at Incorporated Engineer standard
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Government Quality Assurance License
