26.131 Portfolio Planner
This role supports the planning and sequencing of change and transformation programmes within the Disclosure and Barring Service. The postholder gathers information to develop delivery plans, defines key milestones, and works with project teams to track progress against objectives. Responsibilities include challenging planning assumptions, optimising resource scheduling, and building effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

- Experience working in a change or portfolio environment
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Experience of sequencing activity to deliver against deadlines
- Understanding of relevant project methodologies
- Proficient in project planning and Microsoft packages
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
Selection process
Sift takes place from 6th October 2026. Interviews are due week commencing 2nd November 2026 via Microsoft Teams virtual panel interview.
