Assistant Sensitivity Reviewer
You will read and review historical and current documents to decide whether information should be released or withheld under freedom of information and public records legislation. Working independently once trained, you will determine your own priorities, manage records, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You will also help improve ways of working and embrace new technologies like artificial intelligence to handle digital records. This role sits within FCDO Services, helping government departments transfer secure records for permanent preservation at The National Archives.

- Understanding of the Public Records Act, Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection Act
- A keen eye for detail and excellent research skills
- A high level of security awareness
- Substantial understanding of political and diplomatic sensitivities
- Experience of records management
Qualifications
- Level 6 qualification (Degree Apprenticeship, BA or BSc Hons Degree, Graduate Diploma, NVQ Level 6)

Selection process
Closing date is 1st November 2026. Successful candidates will be invited to a face-to-face interview including a presentation.
