You will monitor the use of the Mental Health Act and highlight the experiences of detained patients by conducting weekly solo visits to mental health wards. You will work alongside regional colleagues and healthcare providers to develop monitoring plans, manage a provider portfolio, and write comprehensive reports detailing required actions. You will also act as a Mental Health Act specialist on inspection visits to ensure services meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.
