Clerk of Works - South East
This role involves providing on-site quality assurance across construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects for the Ministry of Defence estate. You will inspect works, verify adherence to safety and technical standards, and identify defects or non-compliance. Working closely with regional delivery teams and industry partners, you will produce accurate reports and ensure public funds achieve value for money. The position is vital for supporting the successful delivery of safe and high-quality infrastructure outcomes for military personnel.
What they're looking for
- Technical understanding of the UK development and building industry
- Experience in quality control, snagging and specification compliance
- Demonstrable experience in construction, site inspection or building control
- HNC or HND in Construction, Building surveying or Civil Engineering
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- HNC or HND in Construction Management, Building surveying or Civil Engineering
- Membership of ICWCI or CIOB (desirable)
