The Energy Assurance Lead manages a small team within the Defence Land Safety Regulator to provide independent assurance on Ministry of Defence energy activities. You will ensure energy systems and infrastructure comply with legislation, regulations, and industry standards while supporting regulatory licensing and governance. The role involves working closely with Front Line Commands, statutory regulators, and industry partners to assess risks and promote sustainable energy practices. You will also conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and lead investigations into significant safety incidents across the defence estate.
