Deputy Director for Digital Standards and Inclusive Design
The Deputy Director for Digital Standards and Inclusive Design leads one of three portfolios within the Government Digital Enablement directorate, focusing on service transformation, accessibility, and digital standards. The role involves working closely with colleagues across policy, technology, and commercial functions to improve public service delivery and drive joined-up, user-centred approaches. Day to day, the postholder will develop innovative ideas, monitor transformation initiatives, pilot new concepts, and collaborate with external partners across academia and industry. The successful candidate will also engage with senior leaders and oversee responses to parliamentary and committee correspondence to support government digital ambitions.
