Deputy Directors - Local Transport Infrastructure Sponsorship and Delivery
These senior leadership roles oversee major devolved transport funding and delivery relationships, working closely with Mayors, Mayoral Strategic Authorities, and local leaders. Postholders combine delivery grip with political judgement, operating confidently with Ministers, senior officials, and local politicians to secure progress and manage risk. Both roles help shape the Directorate's future approach to delivery, assurance, and sponsorship across local transport portfolios.

- Proven leadership of high-performing teams in complex and evolving environments
- Finely tuned political judgement and experience in politically sensitive settings
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
Nationality requirements
