Local Authority Delivery Advisor - Exports and SPS Readiness
This role acts as a subject matter expert on local authority delivery of food and feed official controls, supporting international trade audits and Sanitary and Phytosanitary developments. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Food Standards Agency, devolved governments, and local authorities to gather evidence, prepare briefings, and shape guidance. The position involves responding to stakeholder queries and ensuring coordinated delivery across multiple programmes to support the UK food control system. You will work within the UK and International Affairs Directorate to provide practical solutions to complex regulatory challenges.

Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with the appropriate right to work or EU Settlement Scheme status.
Selection process
Sift is expected on 23/10/26 and final panel interviews on 29/10/26. Interviews will be held remotely via MS Teams.
