Deputy Management Accountant
You will work as a Deputy Management Accountant within the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, helping to manage a total budget of around five hundred million pounds. Your day-to-day work involves running month-end and year-end accounting processes, posting journals, reviewing prepayments, and checking financial forecasts. You will collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and senior managers to provide accurate financial reports, variance explanations, and data analysis. This role ensures timely financial reporting cycles and helps deploy public funds efficiently and effectively.
