You will lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards and government guidance. You will act as a key liaison with external auditors, manage accounts payable and receivable functions, and provide technical accounting advice across the organisation. You will also serve as the finance subject matter expert for the enterprise resource planning system to improve financial controls and processes. You will work closely with colleagues within the finance team, IT support providers, and business stakeholders.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS and public sector reporting
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
