DIO - Senior Building & Civil Engineer (B&CE) Technical Manager
You will lead compliance-focused operational challenges for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to support military capability across the UK estate. Your day involves providing specialist building and civil engineering technical advice, reviewing active construction projects, and working with industry partners on new builds and refurbishments. You will collaborate with internal and external specialists to achieve optimal technical solutions and maintain statutory compliance and value for money. You will work closely with infrastructure managers, frontline military staff, and industry contractors to ensure safe and compliant facilities.
What they're looking for
- Proven experience in compliance management across a large or complex organisation
- Experience of working in a property management or similar organisation
- Understanding of estate and property related legislative and statutory requirements
- Experience of working in highly collaborative or matrix managed environments
Qualifications
- BTEC, SQAHNVQ or SCOTVEC HNC/HND in relevant field
- Full UK driving licence
