EPC Domestic Calculation Methodology Lead
You will lead the operational design and technical support of the statutory domestic Energy Performance Certificate calculation methodology for Scotland. Working within the Heat in Buildings Assessment team, you will draft methodology documentation, collaborate with the UK Government on energy modelling systems, and procure research projects. You will also test and approve industry software, manage conventions for assessor practice on-site, and provide technical advice to policy colleagues. This role plays a vital part in delivering the first major reform of the Energy Performance Certificate system in 17 years and supporting Scotland's net zero ambitions.
