Fraud Defence: Intelligence Officer (Whistleblowing/Human Intelligence)
As an intelligence officer within the Ministry of Defence Fraud Defence Confidential Hotline, you will support the lawful and safe handling of individuals raising concerns about suspected fraud, corruption, or misconduct. You will receive, assess, and record information from whistleblowers and human intelligence sources while protecting confidentiality and managing sensitive engagements. Working closely with police, contractors, and senior stakeholders, you will help identify harm, support investigations, and improve counter-fraud maturity across Defence. This role requires high discretion, sound judgement, and resilience when dealing with potentially vulnerable or distressed individuals.

- Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and cases
- Experience in a crime, fraud, intelligence or investigative environment
Qualifications
- ACFT, IPP, PIP or equivalent qualification is desirable
Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with EUSS status, and Turkish nationals.
