As the Head of Cyber Security, you will lead the cyber security strategy, governance, risk management, and security operations at the UK Hydrographic Office. You will advise executive leaders and the Ministry of Defence on cyber risks, protect critical national infrastructure, and strengthen security awareness across the organisation. Working closely with government security partners and suppliers, you will drive continuous improvement in organisational resilience and secure-by-design delivery.

• Experience building and developing high-performing security teams

• CISSP

• CCSP

Nationality requirements

Open to sole UK nationals only. Must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 24 consecutive months within the last 10 years.

Selection process

Shortlisting takes place w/c 26th October 2026, followed by a fireside chat and face-to-face interview in w/c 16th October 2026.
