Health, Safety & Compliance Manager
You will act as Ofgem's designated competent person, providing professional health, safety, and compliance advice across the organisation to ensure safe, secure, and legally compliant workplaces. You will develop and maintain policies, coordinate audits, lead risk assessments, and investigate incidents while working closely with managers, colleagues, external partners, landlords, and building management teams. This role helps maintain safe working environments across offices while supporting continuous improvement and statutory obligations in workplace planning. You will be part of an energy regulator committed to protecting consumers and delivering a cleaner, more secure net zero energy system.
What they're looking for
- 3 years' experience providing professional H&S advice in an office-based organisation
- Experience developing H&S policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Proven experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence positive outcomes
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
- IOSH membership
