Incinerator Maintenance Supervisor
The Incinerator Maintenance Supervisor diagnoses, repairs, and prevents recurring issues with plant equipment while working independently with minimal supervision. You will manage the critical spares store, plan and manage planned preventative maintenance tasks, and update maintenance records using the Elecosoft SHIRE database. The role involves preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Maintenance Manager and engaging with maintenance providers to ensure operational continuity. Working mostly on-site, the position requires mechanical manual work using tools and equipment, occasionally involving unsociable hours.

- Experience of undertaking maintenance tasks within industry
- Experience writing risk assessments and operating procedures
- Experience of mechanical maintenance processes
- Experience of undertaking planned preventative maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above
- Driving licence
- Minimum NVQ level 3 in engineering skills or completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship

Selection process
Sifting will take place week commencing 12th October with interviews arranged from 16th November. Interviews will take place face to face at Dstl Porton Down.
