The Information Governance Manager leads the information governance team at the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman, serving as deputy data protection officer and managing information performance. You will personally handle complex information requests under freedom of information and data protection legislation, while providing support and guidance to colleagues. You will oversee records management, lead on breach notifications, and act as the main point of contact with the Information Commissioner's Office. Additionally, you will work within the leadership team to implement strategic priorities and contribute to the broader policy and communications team.

Nationality requirements

This job is open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with work rights, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with EUSS status, and qualifying Turkish nationals.

Selection process
