Infrastructure Operations Engineer (Platform/DevOps)
You will manage the operational health, reliability, and security of cloud platforms hosting critical services for HM Revenue and Customs. Working within the Enterprise Cloud Services team, you will monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, and apply automation and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and GitLab. You will collaborate closely with engineering and service desk teams to drive continual improvement, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure efficient resource usage. This role offers exposure to cloud transformation, architecture, and technical leadership while helping to keep essential public services running smoothly.

- Experience operating in AWS, or Azure
- Proven incident and problem management capability
- Proficiency with Linux systems administration
- Capability in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and scripting skills
