Investigations Team Leader - Core Business
You will lead a dynamic investigations team to deliver robust, independent investigations into police complaints and critical incidents. You will manage lead investigators, ensure high standards of quality assurance, and participate in a 24-hour national on-call rota to direct scene management and preserve evidence. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive operational excellence, support staff development, and promote inclusive practice.
What they're looking for
- Fully Accredited Investigator or equivalent investigative experience
- Understanding of the police complaints system and statutory framework
- Experience in case supervision, quality assurance and performance
- Experience supporting staff working in challenging environments
- Driving licence valid in England and Wales
Qualifications
- Fully Accredited Investigator (Units 1 - 4)
- Driving licence valid in England and Wales
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU, Swiss, Norwegian, Icelandic, Liechtenstein and Turkish nationals with appropriate status or right to work.
Selection process
