This role involves working as a regional counter-terrorism intelligence researcher within HM Prison and Probation Service, covering the South West intelligence region. The successful candidate will gather, analyse, and research intelligence data while working closely with various establishments and regional teams. Day-to-day duties include processing information to support security operations, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with colleagues across different locations. Candidates will be expected to undertake moderate travel within the region to attend meetings and visit various sites.

This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with work rights, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with EUSS status, and Turkish nationals.

Selection process

Candidates successful at sift will attend an in-person assessment covering Microsoft Excel and attention to detail. Successful candidates from the assessment will be invited to a virtual interview.
