Navy Command - FOST(S) Gunnery Instructor
This role involves deploying both in the UK and overseas to provide weapons training and assurance on 20mm and 30mm weapon systems for Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels. The successful candidate will maintain force protection standards, update relevant policy documents, and liaise with Navy Command and international stakeholders. Working both independently and collaboratively within the Fleet Operational Standards and Training team, the postholder will travel extensively to support operational readiness. Flexible working is available, though most time will be spent on-site or deployed globally.

- Extensive maritime gunnery experience
- Sea experience as a Petty Officer Above Water Warfare or above
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven problem solving and collaborative working ability
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate
- Relevant crew served weapons instructor qualifications
- Personal Survival Techniques STCW course
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU, EEA, Swiss, and Turkish nationals with appropriate status or right to work.
