Policy Adviser - Sovereign AI
The Policy Adviser shapes the strategic direction and delivery of the Sovereign AI Fund within the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. The role involves developing policy and strategy, designing evaluation frameworks, and supporting spending reviews and business cases while working closely with HM Treasury, delivery teams, and the Fund Board. The postholder also manages ministerial and parliamentary business, including briefings and correspondence, to ensure the Fund remains strategically coherent. This position requires handling high-stakes advice and managing relationships across strategy, finance, and delivery.

Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EU/EEA/Swiss/Liechtenstein/Iceland nationals with EUSS status, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
