Prison Catering: Caterer - HMP Cardiff
You will work in a professional industrial kitchen preparing and cooking nutritious meals for the entire prison. You will oversee the work of offenders, helping them learn new skills and gain qualifications to support their rehabilitation. You will collaborate with the prison catering team while working flexible shift patterns that include weekends and public holidays. This role offers a unique opportunity to use your culinary expertise to make a positive social impact.

- Familiar with kitchen health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Able to demonstrate competency in an industrial kitchen
- Able to speak with confidence in English
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Vocational Qualification at Level 3 or willingness to work towards it
