Prison Catering: Caterer - HMP Send
You will work in a professional industrial kitchen environment preparing and cooking quality, nutritional meals for the entire prison. You will oversee the work of offenders, helping them learn new skills and gain qualifications to increase employment chances and reduce reoffending. You will work with the prison catering team while following health, safety, and hygiene regulations. This role helps rehabilitate offenders while delivering essential catering services.
What they're looking for
- Familiar with kitchen health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Able to demonstrate competency in an industrial kitchen
- Able to speak with confidence in English
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Vocational Qualification at Level 3
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
