Prison Catering: Caterer - HMP Send
You will work in a professional industrial kitchen environment to oversee the preparation and cooking of nutritious meals for prisoners. You will supervise offenders to help them learn new skills and gain qualifications to support their rehabilitation. You will work as part of the prison catering team on various shift patterns including weekends and public holidays. This role helps maintain prison safety while directly contributing to reducing reoffending.
What they're looking for
- Familiar with kitchen health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Able to demonstrate competency within an industrial kitchen
- Able to speak with confidence in English
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Vocational Qualification at Level 3 or willingness to work towards it
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU, EUSS, and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
