Prison Officer - HMP Low Newton
Prison officers protect the public, maintain safety and security, and help make a positive impact on the lives of prisoners. Postholders work directly with women in custody within a women's prison environment, building constructive professional relationships and supporting colleagues as part of a team. Staff carry out varied daily duties that involve acting as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher while working through a changing shift pattern. The role requires passing a medical and fitness assessment and working within a high security establishment.

Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss (with EUSS status), and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the Civil Service.
