Prison officers protect the public and help make an impact on prisoners' lives in a fast-paced and unique environment. You will work directly with prisoners to build constructive relationships, acting as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher as needed. Teamwork plays a vital role as you support colleagues to keep the prison and everyone in it safe. You will be required to work various shifts and some weekends covering evenings, nights, and public holidays.

This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EUSS status holders, and Turkish Ankara Agreement workers.
