Prison Officer - HMP Wayland
Prison officers protect the public and help make a positive impact on prisoners' lives in a fast-paced environment. You will work directly with offenders in a unique setting, acting as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher while building constructive relationships. Teamwork plays a vital role as you support colleagues across various shift patterns to keep the establishment safe. You will also need to pass physical fitness, medical, and eyesight assessments as part of the role.
