Probation Officer Returners Campaign - West Midlands
This role involves returning to the Probation Service as a qualified probation officer to help keep the public safe and rehabilitate people on probation. Former civil servants who left the service within the last five years and successfully completed their probationary period can apply for this fast-track returners scheme. Successful candidates will work with former colleagues and be subject to pre-employment checks including security vetting and an occupational health review. The position is based in the West Midlands with flexible working options available.
Qualifications
- Probation Officer qualification
- PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)
Nationality requirements
Open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EUSS status holders, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
